This Project consisting of a new 132/13.8 kV Substation, in Riyadh City with 132kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) with eleven (11) no of 132kV GIS Circuit. 132KV GIS & the building was damaged by an unfortunate fire incident. AECC was awarded the contract for completion on fast tract within a period of 5 months. A new building for Housing new GIS and 100 meter tunnel for connecting to the existing Contro Room and medium voltage rooms, installation of 132KV new cable incoming circuits and three outgoing circuits for Power Transformers forms part of the contract. The project completion time for energization though being very short was achieved successfully with pro-active support from SEC
