This Project is consisting of a new 132/13.8 kV Substation, in west of Buraydah City, with One no of 132kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) with eleven (11) no of 132kV GIS Circuit
Breakers and associated equipment, three (3) nos. of 132/13.8kV 60MVA, Power Transformers, one no of 13.8kV Switchgear with thirty eight (38) no of 13.8kV Switchgear circuit breaker
panels, three (3) no of 13.8kV, 7 MVAR Capacitor Bank & associated equipment , Auxiliary Equipment, Cables and Civil Work. The substation will be with Substation Automation System
(SAS) & will be remotely controlled through SCADA system through Gateway & fiber optic channels from the Central Regional Control Center (CRCC).
